Thank you to everyone who participated at Mercy in Action Day, Saturday, October 20th.  There were  more than 250 people involved. 1100 sandwiches were made for local homeless shelters;  800 washcloth and soap bags were assembled, and a large number of rosaries were designed for funeral ministries.  Many cards were written for Veterans in the VA Hospital, and many letters and cards were sent to inmates at Oakland County Jail.  Many prayed for an hour and a half during Adoration in Church, and two rosaries were recited. Offsite activities included outside and inside work at Sanctum House, Mary's Mantle, Mary’s Children Family Center, and even cleanup work in senior citizens’ backyards.  It was truly a day of the Lord’s Mercy in Action.
